I am new to Media Catcher so perhaps I am not doing something right!!!

My recording (screen grab from a TV broadcast) was absolutely fine and with excellent sound capture but ..... it was upside down! (vertically mirrored from the original).

Perhaps a codec setting was wrong or I failed to click a setting somewhere.

Can anybody help me please?

HI Basher

Just to clarify, you're using Replay Media Catcher correct?

What version are you using please?

Also, Can you please provide me with the URL of the audio or video you're trying to record, so I can trouble shoot the issue?

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am using Replay Media Catcher Version 4.4.0.1? (the latest version).

The video I was trying to record was in a BBC archive and is located at:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/ahistoryoftheworld/objects/ykHw5-oqQEGFnvat1gavxA

This URL covers the whole article but the clip I am wanting to save is the commentary by Sir David Attenborough (in colour). This was presented under the main picture of the Olduvai Stone. I hope you will be able to find it.

For your information, I have tried to save this clip using at least six other such software programs and this is the first one which successfully records the sound. One of the earlier attempts also recorded the visuals inverted and the others all recorded it correctly, except for the sound.

Added later: I saw that the full URL has not been shown. The missing characters are ....rld/objects/ykHw5-oq.....
