I am trying to covert a mpg video to a mp4 video. I have tried several but they all convert to 99% then stop. Can anyone help?

When it hits 99 percent give it some time. If the file is large it probably needs more time to finish up.

This is correct. I had this same problem and decided to just let it sit one day to see what happened. Eventually it finished so be patient and let the program do it's job.
