Can it monitor a stream for activity?

I watch a lot of League Of Legends streams on Own3D, and I like to record hotshotGG, problem is, sometimes I miss a lot of his stream as he does not always stream at the same time.
Is it possible to monitor his webURL for activity, and when it starts, have it record?
IE - monitor http://clgaming.net/live/335-guardsman-bob for GuardsmanBobs stream?

I do not know of any software that has this facility. The only way I can think of, although not very practical would be to have a dedicated PC on with the software open and activated on the mentioned website. Then it would just catch anything on that PC.

There is no way that I know of, you may wish to check http://stream-recorder.com/ however other programs outside of applian are discussed there frequently. :)
