I am trying to record a sports event, lasting about 7 hours.

Using latest version of RMC 4.3.2, it stopped in 5 hour and the file size is exactly 4GB.

I've tried 3 times, same result.

Is there any way can split the file or exceed 4GB size limit in RMC?

The video I try to record is from:

http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/source/espn3/#type/replay/sport/tennis/

"1/29 3:00 AM EST Novak Djokovic vs. Rafael Nadal (Men's Final)"

Here is the progress log:

Unfortunately, any file size limit or time limit is set by the site the file is being downloaded from, not from Replay Media Catcher itself as it does not impose any such limits on file size.

Unfortunately, there is currently NOT a way to split the files during recording - however I will suggest this to our programmer.

Thanks for your understanding :)

I see.

However, I can view the whole video from the site for 7 hours without problem.

4GB only recorded 5 hours video, in this case.

If you're getting 4GB for the file size, can I assume that you're getting "4 bars" from ESPN? Who is your ISP?

I wanted to jump in and say that I only get 2 hours from twitch.tv, regardless of the length of the video. This doesn't have anything to do with the "segmentation"?
