RMC 3.11 ~ Eternal Checking for Plug-in Updates process

Hi everyone and Happy New Year to all RMC users and technical support staff.

My question today is as follows; I got the 2 RMC versions installed and cohabitating on my PC (RMC 3.11 & RMC4). Today when I decided to run the RMC 3.11 (I seldomly use it now since I upgraded to RMC4), it stayed in the "Checking for Plug-in Updates" stage for ages (2 or 3 minutes) which, to me, seems a bit too long as I do not remember it doing so when I last used it before moving on to the following stage "Checking for Registration..."

Would definitely appreciate your help as to solve this problem out.

You have posted twice. My instinc tells me that you have to opt for one of the versions rather than both. I would uninstall the earliest and keep the latter.

heeeeey... i have also hab RMC 3.11 and 4 as i find 3.11 is better for some streams....

Ive had the same problem twice in the past but im sure its to do with the speed trying to connect to CHECK for the updates.... either at your end or the server end...

just try it again and a different time and see howlong it takes....
