Hi,

I have some FLV files from BBC iplayer. They play fine as FLV files but I want to convert them to MPEG-4 (or virtually anything else frankly) for use with Windows Media Centre.

I've tried two routes:
1) Using a third party video converter. It worked fine in the past, and works fine with all other files (which leads me to believe that the problem is the source file) but produces a file with a sound lag or a couple of seconds between image and sound about 20 minutes in.
2) Using the convert function of RMC. This takes some time to do the conversion but then comes up with the same sound synch issue. In doing the conversion there are repeated messages saying "sbr not implemented update your ffmpeg".

For what its worth my ffmpeg codecs are up-to-date as I'm also trying to get WMC to play FLV filess (a whole different problem)

Any help appreciated.

Try downloading Replay Converter. Works great for me.
