All of a sudden my station is downloading as a .rm file and the software can't seem to handle it.

The url is: http://www.replay-video.com/user/redirect_station.php?id=49&format=WMP

Please don't post log files on this as they take a lot of room. If you need to submit a log file do it with tech support. Thanks.
I did just test the linki and it is working. You do need to have a player set to play a rm file format-even if you are converting it.

Thanks. I'm having Replay AV automatically convert it to mp3 and the converted file always results as 0 bytes. Should I expect that the conversion should work?

This whole process worked till about a week ago. I'm wondering if the station has changed the file format they download.

I think I've answered my own question. I downloaded a product called Real Alternative that can deal with .rm files. Now that that's in place, Replay A/V is able to do the conversion. I suppose it needs something in place that understands the format.

Thanks!

Yes, you do. That is why I said to make sure you had a player that can play it even if converting.

I don't understand why you're converting in the first place; KUOW supplies a 128kbps MP3 stream right on their main kuow.org web page. Open the .PLS file, take out the stream URI (happens to be http://128.208.34.80:8002/ ) and just schedule that. I use a freeware command-line app on a un*x box to stream-record shows from them every day, and the URI works just as well in Replay A/V.

But then, I tend to bypass the Media Guide anyway, and just use MP3 streams that are available from most stations. Seems to avoid a lot of hassle.
