The AVCHD video from my camcorder plays fine in Windows Media Player 12 on my Optiplex 990 (i7-2600) running Win7 x64. After installing Replay Convert 4.2, the audio of these videos is incoherent in WMP12. I even performed this experiment on the factory installation with the same results.
RC4 does not seem to affect the VLC Player, and does not seem to affect other video types on WMP12.

Warning, you'll need a i3/i5/i7-class PC to play this AVCHD video reliably. If you have a Core2Duo, all bets are off unless you have a high-end video card.
