So far I have played with Mpeg 4(h264); iPod video (high) & iPhone (high).
So far seems the Mpeg-4 (h264) the best quality.
OR is it?
What other conversions might work even better?

Basically looking for a conversion that will fit the movie to the screen (without using the iPad's 'maximizer') yet still putting out a good quality image.

Applian support if your reading this. Will there be an iPad (2) conversion option soon?

Thx

It is a personal choicew as to what you feel is a better conversion for what you want. If you want it to be a little better select the edit icon next to your format and increase the bitrate. Remember, the higher the bitrate the larger the file. It is up to the developer as to what formats he adds to the program.

Good to now - so how do I save the new Format for the future?
(when I change the bitrate from 800 to 900 (and updated the format file name) the new format shows up under
Choose a format type - but the original is MIA in the master list (add more formats).

Also whats the closest frame size of the iPad?
Choices are: 320 x 200 / 352 x 240 / 720 x 480 & 720 x 576

Thanks

768 x 576 is the ideal frame size for an iPad. When you change the bitrate you are given the option to save it and give it a new name.
