When recording some live UFC press events from ufc.tv, I receive many, many 2 second MP4 files (Under Construction.mp4, Copy (1) of Under Construction.mp4, Copy (2) of Under Construction.mp4 ......) as the MP4 is streamed in 2 second mp4 files through flash. (note: when the event is not live, it is recorded fine...)

Here is an example source. Increment the number at the end of the URL by 2 (seconds) to get more files.

.....

How can I record this type of stream and get one single working MP4 file?

I've tried to record a couple of free streams and they were RTMP and RTMPT streams. Didn't have any problem downloading them with Replay Media Catcher 4 after closing the player.

As for other streams, I suggest you to submit a support ticket with your log.

The weigh-ins are in 6 hours and will be streamed live. The live stream isn't RTMP, but probably another sliced up mp4. Maybe someone can try to figure it out:
