trouble with windows 7: the server disconnects if I close my browser

hello. i recently upgraded to windows 7. and now replay media catcher is having trouble catching a live stream. in windows vista and xp i could close the browser on a site and it continued recording. now in windows 7 it disconects. any idea ? do i need to change setting?

Also when closing browser it will record for around 45 seconds before stopping

it seems to be trouble with explorer 8.has any one trouble with 8?i just checked my laptop it has explorer 7 and the site works fine. my desktop has explorer 8 and it wont record. im trying to get rid of 8
