So I am trying to cap a video using RMC4, and it is proving more and more difficult. I finally used Orbit to capture it and that worked but I had to watch the entire video in order to capture it. It is an HTTP link, so maybe it is something with my settings. Everytime I try to cap it, it shows as the full file size, that the Orbit video captured, but after an hour the video freezes and doesnt show the full 2 hours. From what I can tell the Download size is correct compared to the orbit download which was a .mov it is just missing the second hour of the broadcast. Most of the time RMC4 stops at like 80% or there about on the Progress chart. Any insight on this would be appreciated.

Download is 732475 KB in size ...

The Video can be found here:
http://www.gt1world.com/ - (It is the video titled Abu Dhabi - "The Gt1 Championship race from Abu Dhabi" ; if you need to go to it and try yourself)

Direct link to specific video: (This may change or be unique though because a previous link that I did to it in VLC did not start the video)

Hi Walker

I'll ask our RMC expert to chime in on this one. You should hear from them shortly. :-)

You can also capture HTTP streams with RMC 4 in a similar way it is done by Freecorder or Orbit Grab Pro. Just go to Tools -> Settings -> HTTP Download Tweaks and add a domain to the Secure sites list.

@demotester
can you tell me what settings you have for HTTP, and I think it has something to do with my settings. I have tried it 3 times and the file in the folder showed the 715mb file size but the video would cease at about an our and 5minutes into it. While your at it your rtmp settings would be nice too. :-)

@stream-recorder
Thanks for the tip . should help a lot since I plan on watching more of the races. I would prefer to download them though, recording takes too long, but i guess i gotta do what i gotta do.

maybe you can post (upload) your log for this file download (Right click, Progress. then copy to TXT-file.)
