How to Record with Replay Video Capture to play on XBOX?

Has anybody got video files playing on an XBOX tried a few different formats without any success best I have done it plays briefly for 2 secs then goes using WMV format

What file format does the xbox play? Also, how are you putting them on the xbox? USB Drive, wireless, etc?

I am using a NAS drive through a wireless connection - The Xbox plays avi files as I have films on the drive that play ok
When using RVC with Windows Media 9 format I get a 1 second of the start of the file then it goes black so I don`t think its far off
Have tried other formats using Replay Convertor with no luck

Hmmmm, I don't have an xBox so I can't test this one for ya. When I have this issue with my ps3, I just convert to a different video format and that tends to fix it. Have you tried using tversity yet by chance? If not - you should check it out, it's free and does 'conversions on the fly' when streaming media from your PC to your xbox/ps3 (IF you've got wi-fi, that is)
