trouble with the icons

Well when I try to click on the converter icon or the recorder one, nothing appears, like no window.

Good evening - please make sure you set up freecorder according to the settings here: Setting up freecorder (http://www.applian.com/freecorder4/help.php#settings)

You also might want to make sure your pop up blockers are allowing freecorder, or not blocking it from loading up the recording windows.
