Having problems downloading videos from above site. Have latest RMC, made tweaks, left download running but only have had 1 successfully complete. Most start the RTMP download but finish about the 5 or 7 minute mark. Don't do any other work on computer whilst trying to download. These are the specific URLS
http://video.wttw.com/video/1530351363/ and
http://video.wttw.com/video/1530279735/ Also getting a lot of "Server not Found" messages so not sure if this a contributing factor. Hope someone can give me some tips.

Thanks

With the videos that end at 5-7 minutes - did you play them back to see if they were complete? RMC is often able to record up to 5 times faster than the file itself. For example, an 1 1/2 hour movie can sometimes be recorded in under 20 minutes.

Also - does this happen with EVERY video/file you record, or ONLY ones from the above mentioned site?

Thanks!

Hi Jeff

Thanks for your prompt response. Have replayed the "complete" file but all are really only 5 to 7 mins unfortunately - should be 26 mins. This has also started happening with other files, even YouTube videos. I am a paid up member of http://www.thequiltshow.com and those videos are stopping at the 15 to 20 minute mark - usually 50-60mins. Never had that problem before <sigh> Have the same problem whether using Firefox (my default) or IE.

Thanks for any assistance you can give.

Please go to Tools -> Settings -> RTMP Download Tweaks and tick the checkbox to always record RTMP streams instead of downloading. Let us know if it helps.

Yes, have done that but it doesn't make any difference unfortunately. Most frustrating. Thanks for your input though.

Most times I receive a "Complete with errors" message prior to the start of the truncated download. Don't know if this will help at all:

I tried to open both links simultaneously, but had problem playing these streams. Then opened another stream. RMC detected 4 links (instead of 3) and started downloading all of them. I got errors downloading all of them pretty soon. Then I closed my browser, right-clicked on one of the links and selected "Reprocess". I was able to download the RTMP stream from the first link fully.

Then I tried to repeat this with the second stream, but reprocessing didn't help. Opened the link again to detect a new stream URL and got the same error as you, i.e.:

Invalid tincan object name (stream ID: 1).
Tried to open the second link again and downloaded the RTMP stream fully.

So it is a good idea to record and watch one stream from this site at a time. And trying to download multiple times may help.

Thanks for the tips. Not having much luck though - up to copy 7 of one download but will keep trying the reprocessing.

I've notified the developer, so he will take a look.

Turn off RTMP Super Download and set buffer size to 1. It should download and play back fine.
