Can Not Record Audio in IE Audio Record Tool says Waiting for Audio

The Audio Record Tool doesn't work correctly in IE. I tried recording some audio that was streaming from PlayList.com in IE and the audio record tool just sits there and says waiting for audio and never records anything. I tried in in FireFox and initially it does the same thing but when I close the Audio record tool and reload the FireFox browser and then hit the Audio record tool button again it works just fine.
