Hi,
I too cannot record YouTube videos. I had no issues about one month ago, but no longer can record. I cleaned out my temporary internet files by going to Internet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/Browsing History/Delete/Temporary Internet Files (checked). I also did a clean uninstall and reinstall using Revo Uninstaller.
I saw no resolution posted from previous threads for same issue.
I am using RAV ver 8.82
Windows 7 x64
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
James

You Tube has changed this last week and some people are experiencing this issue. The developer is aware of this and looking into it. Replay Media Catcher might be a good alternative for you.

Replay Media Catcher is indeed working, WM Recorder should also work if you're a current user of it.
Thanks!

Hello Jeff,
Are you telling me Replay A/V will no longer be an option for recording YouTube? I do not have Replay Media Catcher and just upgraded to RAV May 2010.
Please advise.
Thanks,
James

Hi Jahcols
At the moment - our Replay AV programmers are looking into a solution. I don't have an ETA yet unfortunately.

Hi James,
There is no update yet unfortunately. From what I gather, it's still being looked into. You CAN record the entire youtube video with Replay Media Catcher (http://applian.com/download-videos/)in the meantime however - even if you just download the demo.

What about doing a speaker capture while playing the youtube video in your browser? That worked for me.

You are able to use Replay Media Catcher. Even in demo mode it will capture a YouTube video. Thanks.

Would this also affect trying to get just an audio stream from youtube? I am getting a "No network adapter deleted" error when I try to start up the "URL Finder" - I think that may be more of the issue. Will check other forum inputs before submitting a bug report - windows 7. RAV 8.82

For audio you don't use the URL Finder. You would open AV and select record-record audio from speakers. Give it a time frame and then open the link you want to capture.

Yes NothinToProve, this is what I am doing as my work-around for this issue. Thank you for your input.
