In Vista 64-bit OS, with video capture I get green text named: Get "Audio Track: Input Description: 44100 Hz Stereo pcm (uncompressed)" embedded over the video when I play it in different media players. Always get this when saved in MPEG-2 but also get it when saved in Windows 9 and played in player other than Windows Media Player. I have ffdshow installed. Any thoughts why? Thanks

Do you have this problem in VLC, MPlayer or any other player that comes with built-in codecs? Probably not.

Did you install any codec packs?

I did install a codec pack- XP Codec Pack 2.5. It comes with Media Player Classic. But I installed this codec pack because I was having some video playback challenges.

While codec packs are easy to install, they can solve some problems while adding many others. That is why I recommend to use players like VLC and MPlayer which come with built-in codecs.
