Audio problem

Hi When I try to use the recently installed Replay Video Capture I loose all sound on my P.C. and have to re boot.
I have windows 7 and Audigy SB X-Fi external sound card.
Any sugestions?

I too am experiencing audio loss after installing the the recent version 4.2 - 03.01.10_file version 7.0.6.1 of RVC. Everything is fine until I press the record button. I am told that RVC can not connect to the audio codec. Afterwards my audio sound is disabled and a reboot is necessary. OS is Win 7 with a HT Omega Striker 7.1 Card and driver. After installing the software (3 times), I am asked if the system has surround sound capabilities. When I answered yes the audio test would not run. It said something to the effect that I had to adjust my speakers to Stereo /Mono and lower my audio rate below 48,000 or 44,000 sample rate to which both items meet that criteria. When I answered no the audio still would not connect. So what gives. Has anyone else experienced this?

Please reinstalll the program and see if that works. If it doesn't contact tech support. Even though you are using Windows 7 see what happens when you select Vista in the audio setup.
