KTNT Wa Times News gives every indication it is capturing but records silence. This station was recording up until a few days ago. About half the stations I started recording using the stream AV7/8 capture method six or seven years ago have dropped out. Many are still listed in the Media Guide as being "live" streams.

I'm curious. Is anyone at Applian checking the streams to see if they are in fact valid? This can be done automatically by programming some tuning code using a device called A COMPUTER. Or, if you want customer feedback put a pass/fail button on the scheduler menu to send an automated msg indicating the stream is dead.

It is not clear which of your utilities can capture flash borne audio streams and which use other methods. It would be useful for the recording application to report back which kind of audio stream it is sensing and/or recording. On your product catalog pages simply list the type of stream each application is capable of capturing so we don't have to guess.

The best sources for always up-to-the-minute stream analysis and live radio tuning are:

We don't check the streams as with thousands out there are not enough resources to do this. Plus many stations change very often. When we are told that one is not working then we test it and update it as needed. You are able to let us know through the Media guide when you are adding a file. We don't have KTNT in our Media Guide. If you would like us to add it let us know what link for the station and what type of music it records.
