BBC7 Capture

I initially had no luck capturing BBC 7 streams when I UPGRADED RMC3.11 to RMC4 (version 4.05).
I then downloaded the RMC4.06 version and set it to "record" while playing a stream on the BBC iPlayer. As soon as the RMC starts recording I close the BBC iplayer. RMC then stops with "Complete with errors. Double click to view" I then right clicked the failed stream and select "reprocess". Immediately "downloading" starts and downloads the stream in incredibly quick time :D
I can download a number of BBC7 streams simultaneously this way :cool:
As each is completed it joins the queue for conversion. I can capture a 30 minute audio stream in a couple of minutes !!

If you set RMC 4 to record RTMP streams instead of downloading, you shouldn't close the BBC iPlayer. RMC 4 will be recording as long as you play your stream. Recording is a good way of saving streams while you watch them. Also it helps to save streams that can't be downloaded. If you want to save several streams from BBC simultaneously, try to use RTMP downloading instead.
