I am setting up a Desktop PC specifically for grabbing my Tivo files from Tivo box
which I want to convert to smaller size files that I can access remotely via the Internet to enjoy my programs when away from home. I will use a utilitiy called Directshow Dump to automatically convert these Tivo files into standard MPEG2 format.

Is there a way to automate Replay Converter so as every time there is a new Tivo files (MPEG2), RC will automatically convert it into a smaller (compressed) file? Or must I perform conversion operations with Replace Converter manually.
Thanks

You are going to need to set it up each time as you are not using a recording from within Replay AV. It has the converter built in so you can have it set to do this automatically.

Thanks for your reply. But I am still confused
You said both
" You are going to need to set it up each time"
and "you can have it set to do this automatically"
Thanks

TiVoToGo .tivo files are encrypted MPEG-2 files. You need to decrypt them before using Replay Converter.

You can use freeware directshow dump to decrypt your .tivo files.
