What web-page are you trying to record from?

You Tube has changed the way they are streaming and as of now AV is not able to capture this. From what I see other programs are also having this issue. It does still capture with Replay Media Catcher, however.

Cheryl,
I have Wm Rwcroder 12 & catcher and they cannot catch Youtube. I tried the Applian Download Youtube page by pasting in the URL, but it said I have to use Replay MC, I downloaded a trial of 3.11. When I start it and recording, it catches the ads nicely but sits silent on the actual file. Perhaps it is a DRM issue but I get no message of any kind.
Sample URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGzNkDGFOGQ. I di the other stuff like turning off hardware acceleration in vidoe, and I saw another post saying uncheck HTTP mode and check web stream dumper. No change it ignores the actual video.
Any guidance appreciated.

We just uploaded a brand new version of AV this morning. It works great with YouTube so uninstall and reboot prior to installing.

You can use the video history tool instead of web stream dumper.

Some youtube videos use secure RTMPE protocol. RMC no longer supports them
http://www.applian.com/replay-media-catcher/support/secure-rtmp-measures.php
But you can use Replay Video Capture and WM Capture to record secure videos from screen.
