When or will the freecorder be changed to stop the automatic file breaking?
While I know that Replay AV will do this I feel that 49.95 is too much for my needs.
Does Applian run discount specials for software?
I just want to record some Beck or Bortz from time to time and not have it broken into 400 files.

What sites are you trying to record from? We have other audio recorders that are less expensive then Replay AV and may better fit your needs. Replay Music (http://www.applian.com/replay-music/) is great for recording MP3s.

It is a 2-3 hour talk radio show. I record it from time to time and listen to it at the gym. Today I recorded it with freecorder and ended up with 264 files.
Some as little as 1 second long. Is it to much to ask to have a simple standalone or bar recorded that captures audio without breaks. I dont want naming, timers etc.

I would glady pay 14.99 for a quality app that is just rock solid recorder.
It seems by this forum that I am not alone. I understand you guys have to make aliving, I do to. It seems however that a basic app for a low price would sell more.

The older version of Freecorder does not split tracks. You can download it here (http://applian.com.s3.amazonaws.com/FC3Setup.exe).
