Converting a 4GB mpg file to DVD takes one or two hours on my Dell XPS 420 with 3GB RAM
Why not have the option to unleash full power on converter tasks when no other programmes are running, or at least be able to significantly up the priority?
The Replay Suite is a great programme
thanks for any reply

On My ancient Dell Inspiron single core it takes 8 hours just to convert 2-3 gigs from FLV to MP4. I think it's a 1-1 ratio for Replay Converter but Media Catcher is considerably faster at converting. I don't think it burns to DVD tho and this old laptop doesn't have a DVD burner. I am unhappy about Media Catcher being so fast and Replay Converter being dog slow but some programs won't play when converted by Media Catcher.

That would be pretty average in my opinion.
