No Closed Captioning On playback of recorded files

I can play lynda.com tutorials with Closed Captions (CC), but when I replay the captured videos the closed captioning is not displayed. My Quicktime preferences is set to show closed captions if available. Is there something special I need to do to be able to capture and play videos with closed captions?

These captions are added dynamically, they are not part of the original stream. You would need to use Replay Video Capture (http://www.applian.com/replay-video-capture/index.php) to record the captions.
