View Full Version : Location of Schedule File in 8.61

It may be useful for others to know that in Replay AV 8.61 the location of the schedule file changed.

Prior to 8.61 it was:
C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Replay AV 8\schedule8.dat

As of 8.61 it is:

C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Schedule8.dat

It appears that when you upgrade from the older version to the new one, the setup program does not bother to move the file, so it appears you have lost your schedules. But you can fix that by copying from the old location to the new.

I did not have this problem after upgrading to 8.61. But I did have to modify my backup script that copies the schedule file every night (losing those schedules once was enough for me.)

Actually, I'm hoping they will never change it again.

As of 8.61 it is:

C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Schedule8.dat

What OS are you running? That's not where it is on my XP Pro SP3 system.

See my message (https://forum.applian.com//showpost.php?p=11611&postcount=2).

The information I gave is for Windows 7. I believe, but am not certain, it is true for Vista.

An update should be loaded today. In it the log file will tell you where your schedule8.dat file is located.

just wondering, dos anyone know if update 8.71 has done anything to change the location of the schedule file?

Replay A/V -8.71
- Uses updated WinPCap for better network adapter detection.
- Now detects video/mp4 media type.
- Now detects application/flv media type.
- Updated Sirius login module. This fixes new Sirius login email style.

thanks

It appears to be in the same place on my Windows XP SP3 system.
