Ripping from DVD

Is there a way to just rip a part of a dvd, or do you have to rip the entire dvd to get it into replay converter? I'm trying to rip at high quality wmv format, and it would take forever to rip the entire dvd.

Load the file into your converter, if you are using the latest version. Right mouse click the file and select Extract. Follow the prompts for extract just a portion.
