freecorder wont start

i am using windows vista home prem on a acer aspire l3600 model and when i click on freecorder it does not start and then comes up with windows message close the program or check online for a solution which does not help, does anyone have any ideas. thanks

What version of Freecorder are you using? If you are using the desktop version it will not work in most cases with Vista. If you are using the toolbar it should work so you would want to ask in the toolbar forum.
