Conversion suddenly stops

I just captured a 1 hour 5 minutes HD stream with Media Catcher resulting in a 1.1 GB mp4 file. When I try to convert this file to WMV with the convert-tool, the conversion is not complete, it stops after about 15 minutes. Is there some time limit in this program or is the file too big? I'm using a terabyte harddisk, with about 400 GB free.
