I can grab movie trailers, but when I try to play them back, I get an error message from quicktime about a missing parameter. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue?

What is the file extension on the videos you are trying to play?

I captured some Quicktime files today which streamed to my computer (using RMC 3.2) as *.mov files. RMC changed the extension on the saved files to *.mp4 files which would not open in Quicktime even though that was the default suggested by RMC. Go figure!

Good news is that if I changed the file extension from *.mp4 to *.m4v then the files played just fine in iTunes. For now, Quicktime in iTunes is the way to go.

FYI the same *mp4 files would open using VLC Media Player, but when they came up it was in two linked windows - 3D Media Direct was one, VLC was the other - which was awkward.

Whoops. I meant to type Replay Media Catcher 3.01, not RMC 3.2. Sorry.
