Is there a trick to ensuring that a downloaded TV stream includes the closed captions?

Not all streams do work with the closed captions-it depends on how they are streaming. Do go to our settings-Internet downloads-advanced. Turn on closed captions there.

Thanks for the tip. I've turned CC on, will see what happens next.
I'd suggest that you move the CC option out of the Advanced menu and make it more obvious - maybe even have it On by default.
