Audio but no video recording from DVD

Hi

I am attempting to record from a DVD using Replay Video Capture 7.

I'm playing the video in Windows Media Player and trying to capture that window.

Sound records fine but there's no video at all - just a black screen. I've looked through the settings but can't see anything obvious I've missed.

Can you help please?

Please try a different player such as the VLC Player and see if it works better for you.

Whilst waiting for your reply I decided to see if I could save the DVD via the Media Converter. Picture quality and audio quality are both excellent though the sync is way out. I've used the troubleshooter to try and resolve this problem but it makes no difference. I see sync issues seem to crop up on the forum from time to time. Do you have further advice on this?

That can happen with some videos. a suggestion is to do a fresh boot of your computer prior to converting to free up system resources and see if that makes a difference.
