Hi,
I'm trying to capture a webinar for future listening. When I put up the web page and hit the record button, the software indicates that it's recording. It completes recording prior to the Webinar finishing (that does not seem unusual to me. Prior versions of replay radio and replay AV were able to capture the entire streams very quickly). Then it outputs to an MP3 file. When I try and play the file on either windows media player I get the error "windows media player cannot play the file. The player might not support the codec that was used to compress the file".

It will not play on an android either.

Windows 7
Windows Media Player Version 12.0.7601.18150

Thanks

Mark

Have you tried to convert it to a different format? You are using a really old version of Replay Media Catcher. Thanks.

Out of curiosity - what is the webinar format, gotomeeting etc?

Also, humor me on this - but you're using the audio recorder, not the standard recorder right?

Thanks! :)

Hey all,
my apologies, but I never got an e-mail that there were replies to this thread.
Cheryl, I have not tried to covert to different format, but have used MP3 previously w/o issue. I'll try converting to different format
Jeff....not sure what you mean. These are webinars from ISACA/Brighttalk and I'm also not sure what you mean by audio vs standard. I'm using Media Catcher 4. honestly, this was much less complicated when all I had to use was replay radio....

Thx.
