RMC 5 drops connection.

Hey Guys,

I see my rmc5 drop/lose/stop the recording (rtmp) when my connection is "bad". The livestream works keeps on playing but RMC5 stops recording if the stream buffer alot. This happens when my ping is high.
Isnt it possible to make a "timeout" option in RMC5 so it don't stop recording so easily?

Unfortunately no - if you've got a bad connection, RMC will stop recording and not much can be done about that :(

Are you able to upgrade your internet connection by chance?

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the reply. I got 2 connections but 1 good one with a download limit and 1 that got high ping from time to time.
Got some other recorders that don't drop the connection so easy but if it's nothing to do about I guess my hope if for a inet upgrade in the future. :D
