Replay Media Catcher 5 not recording/converting full file

i've just downloaded the newest version of RMC5 (http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/)today as a replacement for RMC4 and it doesn't record videos when i pull them up in my browser OR when i search them in the guide. it also doesn't pick up Rdio songs. i've refreshed YouTube pages in the browser like i normally would with #4 but it doesn't seem to help at all. i've had this same problem with multiple videos.

the only time it will record anything is when i manually enter the YouTube URL, but then when i convert it to an audio file it only plays the first minute of the song but says it's complete. i've also done this with multiple videos.

any advice anyone, please?

okay, i got the program to record from my browser, but i still can't convert it to an MP3 file without losing the entire thing except for the first minute. is there a setting i can change that lets it convert the whole file? it's always one minute long in iTunes and Windows Media Player. when i play the video file in Applian's FLV player it has the whole thing.

also, am i the only one with this problem? because if so then i can figure it out myself, if not there must be a common solution.
