Multiple capture of the same stream

I've been having problem since the very early versions of Media Capture, a lot of times it keep starting up a new capture stream of the same video that is being captured. Sometime it ends with 3 or 4 captures, and they can start at anytrime after the original one was started. It definitely takes up bandwidth and not to mention valuable download quota.

Any fix for these would be appreciated.
