I have been downloading videos on You Tube every day for the last 3-4 weeks and all of a sudden today when I click on a video it starts downloading in mp3 format over and over. I don't see other people posting questions, so is this a simple fix through the settings menu?? Or, has You Tube changed up things on their end?

Thanks in advance

In fact, now I have done a bit more exploring it doesn't matter what recording settings I have it soon ends the downloads and states 'complete with errors'. on multiple websites.

Yes, I'm seeing this too. I use RMC to download news shows everyday (I have no TV reception). This new UTube glitch has made RMC all but useless to me.

I have been having trouble with Youtube for months. The videos get downloaded without errors, but when I try to play the downloaded file they will not play.

Hi.
I also had a lot of problems and this is what I did to get it to work.
Much of what I did might be completely unnecessary for you.

1. Delete all old Replay applications including Replay Media Catcher version 4 and 5.
2. Reboot.
3. Clean and reorganize registry – reboot.
4. Install Replay media catcher 5.
5. Start the application and receive message – ‘... UrlCache ... not found’ (Maybe because I did not push the START button first, but tried to download).
5. Delete folder ...AppData\Local\Applian\Replay Media Catcher 5
6. Start the application one more time.
7. Go to SETTINGS=>MONITOR and install the APPLIAN NETWORK MONITOR for the START button (my WinPcap did not work).

Remember that you always can use GUIDE=>YOUTUBE=>VIDEOS + Download or INTERNET=>MANUAL DOWNLOAD which will work without the START button.
Thanks.

I've tried all of those steps. It's still not working for me.

I installed the latest version (.19) and You Tube downloading is now working (multiple downloads of the same file but I can live with that). Thank you!

try version 5.0.1.19

Hmm, version info in Applian Director has not been updated it seems, it says "5.0.1.7" and "OK - up to date".

Did find 5.0.1.19 on download page though. Much better, only a few extra useless files (those marked blue). With 5.0.1.7 there might be up to 50. YouTube setting: Page-MP4-High.

I'm not experiencing many multiple downloads w/youtube .... just two (mp4 & flv). FLV quality isn't good so I just delete it. Download Method Setting for youtube s/b "raw".
