out of control recording mp3 showing when the mediacatcher is online....what can be done

I was need to re install the program on my pc, now i have crazy situation, as soon as the system is on line--with out even recording any things---i get a wave of mp3 recording attempt,,,,,all bunch of a few seconded recording segment-and stop when done -and a new one star........Any solution ??????????

+1 on the numerous mp3/flv/mp4 recordings from youtube or internet recordings.

Sounds like the original poster has the internet monitoring setting set to a default of on and the RMC set to start on startup.

However I feel his pain when using internet recording. I have to monitor when the file is complete and turn it off as soon as I have finished my desired recording and then proceed to delete all of the ..1, ..2, ..3, ..4, ..5, etc. recorded files (number of numerous file depending on how quickly I get to it).
