Am I recording or not?

When I click start recording the little button at the very top left becomes red with the down arrow thing. But there is nothing in the list showing the name of what I'm recording or any in progress icon. I don't know if I'm recording anything or not. I'm trying to record from SoConSports which uses JumpTV.

Nevermind. Tasha answered my question. Apparently, I needed to start recording b4 opening the page I wanted to record.
