Default Playing converted DVDs on TV player

Is it possible to burn YouTube files to a DVD in a format that can be used on TV screen w/ normal "over-the-counter" DVD player.

NOTE: I'm receiving a message on my DVD player that says:"DirectShowSource: Could not open as video or audio.

VIdoe Returned: Couldn't open file. Cannot play back file. The format is not supported.

    Thanks

    Hi Noel

    Absolutely! :-)

Most dvd players today use either mpeg-2, or the mpeg-4 format. Replay Converter 3.x can convert to BOTH of those formats, and burn to dvd with no problem at all. :-)

Have you checked to see what file formats your dvd player works with? Also, what format(s) are you converting to before you burn?

    Thanks.
    Best Regards,

Default I converted youtube files to Mp4, then to DVD.

I'm still seeing the same message.
