Default Capturing Flash Audio - what audio format?

    Hi there

I am using RMC 3.01 to capture a flash audio stream from a radio website, it works OK and I am getting 128 kbps MP3 files catured and saved. But they don't sound very good and I wondered - does RMC capture the straight file from the server, or is it captured the audio stream in flv and then transcodng it to MP3 (which could explain the poor quality sound)?

    Thanks

    Hi Nigels,

It's 'captured' directly from the server. We'd be happy to help you with this, Can you please provide me with the URL of the audio you're trying to record, so I can trouble shoot the issue?
    Best Regards,

I have since discovered they are broadcasting 128 kbps MP3 Flash Audio so I guess that answers my question

    Thanks
