Problem with upgrade RM 5

Having problems with new RM5 upgrade.
When I click the onscreen icon it opens up a 'new tab page' in my (chrome) web browser, (which I have always used for
previous version RM3) If I close and try again I get a pop-up saying 'unable to load audio driver. Please close all other
recording programs and try again'........there are none open.
I have uninstalled all previous versions and installed RM5 and rebooted several times, nothing works.
Does anyone have any suggestions, if so please keep it simple as not very pc savvy.

Please try it with IE as your default browser. Also, what version of windows are you using? What security software do you have installed? Thanks.
