Replay Music 5 not changing track no

Since I installed version 5, apart from the track splitting issue,
the track numbers are not changed when I edit them.
It shows them as changed, but when you go to the files folder they are not changed.
Is this just me, or is a new feature in version 5

This is a small bug that we are aware of and hope to hasve fixed in the next update. If you are not using the latest version do make sure you are using it. Also, see if it "sticks" if you edit more than one field.

I am on the very latest 5.05.
It makes no difference what I edit, it will still NOT change track no's.
Luckily I have other utilities that can.

So when is this small BUG that has lasted for MONTHS going to be fixed.
I posted this is in March, and I was not the first to report it.
It is now July over 4 months.
Is this bug too small to fix, or are there so many minor issues with version 5.05 that it is taking way longer to resolve.
If I fixed issues with my clients software at this speed, I would be out of a job.

What I don't really understand is that it was absolutely fine in Versions 3 and 4.

Often what appears to be an easy fix isn't. The developer is aware of this and we hope to have it resolved in a future update. According to the developer it should be ready for release in the near future.

As a software developer I understand bugs and issues.
But it would be nice if they actually owned up to this and admitted earlier rather than later it was a problem.
