cannot install audio source SndCap5 filter

I just bought Replay Capture Suite and get the above error message with Replay Video Capture when I enable "Dual Audio (speak over video). I am not running any antivirus software, I uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled - same thing. Windows 7 Pro. I tried installing everything and install just RVC 6. I didn't have this problem on the trial version of RVC 5.

Did you deselect auto detect? See if that makes a difference.

It does, but I want to record audio from my mic, as well as the other person on Skype, and video. If I uncheck it I cannot hear my mic in the recording.

It would indeed be helpful to know how you got around this. I have been using Replay Telecorder which works very well, but I´d still like to know. All about learning.

Sorry, just saw these requests now. Hmm, not sure if I remember exactly. Oh yes, I changed it to MPEG-2 in Video Format in Settings; it doesn't work with the other three for some reason (it records the computer's sounds but not my voice on the mic). I'm now having a new problem though: when I upload the videos to YouTube, it removes my mic voice and I can only hear the computer sounds (friend speaking on Skype, computer audio etc.). Strangely, this happens even when I convert the file from mpg to avi or wmv. More strangely, the original recorded file plays fine on Windows Media Player, but not on VLC - VLC removes my mic voice and keeps the computer audio too! Is this common? Can anyone help?

Just to be clear, here is the video I uploaded. You can hear me but barely the person on the other end of Skype. Even more even more strangely, sometimes when I convert the file I hear only me, sometimes I hear only her, but never both. I really need this because it is the only reason I bought this software.

It seems to me that you are going to a lot of unnecessary effort. Why don´t you use the Replay Telecorder which is designed for the job.
