How do you trim a video of unwanted data? After you have the video the way you want it, how do you join it together with another video?

To trim you use the markers. Select the beginning and end of what you don't want. Move your cursor there and select thumb down. Now, select trim. To join the file with another file you would add both files and select join. You do need to make sure they are the same format, the same bitrate and the same dimensions.

I have a couple of files that I have captured from the screen. I have to "trim" the file e.g remove some frames in the beginning and also a couple of seconds in the end. I hve tried several things and the only thing that I achieve is to trim at the end of the clips. How do I get rid of the first couple of seconds?
