    Default Download Issue

I'm trying to download videos from veevr.com.

Every other video site works perfectly fine but with Veevr, the file size of the video is detected as being much lower than what it actually is and so RMC only downloads <1MB of the video, then while the video is playing RMC starts another download of <1MB and continues this until I stop it from processing new streams.

I assume this might be because Veevr may be hosting videos in fragments?
I only assume this because in the 'Progress...' of these small video downloads is this line:
    Recording of http://doppler.am4.hwcdn.net/etc..../Seg1-Frag1
And every new download that is started increments the 'Frag' value. Frag1, Frag2, Frag3 etc..

But I'm confused because I could download videos from Veevr perfectly fine a couple days ago. :/
If this is the case, is there an option of some sort to merge these fragments?

    HI

Is this happening with ALL videos from veevr? I tested that site just 2 days ago and it was working fine for me...

Yep, it has done it with all videos I've tried since a couple days ago.

Around 3 or 4 days ago I was downloading Veevr videos perfectly fine but then I was getting an error 500 when trying to load videos then I stopped getting that error and instead got "An error has occured. Please try again later." then it started working again the next day but I could no longer download videos properly.

On one of my connections I still get that vague 'please try again' error 90% of the time (though after reloading the video it usually loads fine), but the other connection has been perfectly fine with loading videos. Either way, both connections produce the problem with downloading them when the videos are actually working.

I don't think I've changed anything since the time it was working fine, I've tried clearing cache and such but I'm still getting the issue. This issue doesn't happen with any other video site, just Veevr.

Edit: Seems it isn't all videos, I just tried one today and it worked perfectly fine, but with ones I've tried previously the problem still exists.
With the one it worked for, the URL of the recording was like:
    http://hwcdn.net/etc.../---.mp4?bitrate=---&token=---

So I guess it is just a problem with the recordings that are split into fragments, I've tried merging them with Premiere Pro but when trying to import them they give a corrupt file/codec error.

Wow, it looks like they made some major changes - lol

I tried a few different videos on that page and had the same results - each one TRIED to record about 10-15 times and i had quite a few short/empty files after theattempt. . I was not able to get a recording using Replay Media Catcher.

For files such as this, you'll want to use Replay Video Capture, which is a SCREEN capture program we offer that records what it sees on your screen - regardless of the file type.

I DID test this file myself using RVC and it worked fine.

IF you haven't yet, please check it out here:

    Thank you for your understanding,

That's a shame! So I guess RMC will no longer support Veevr? (at least for the videos that seem to be streamed the new way)

A question about 'Replay Video Capture', does it require the tab which the video is playing on to be active? (For recording streams with RMC I generally like to just mute it and ignore it while it's recording allowing me to watch/listen to other stuff during the process but I assume this wouldn't be possible with video capture?) If that's the case, I guess I could live with it.. I only use Veevr if there's no other mirror available.

With Replay Video Capture, you have to leave the window open and the sound unmuted. It captures whatever is displayed on your screen (or a window on your screen) and the audio. If you have a good sound card, this isn't a problem. But it is a problem if you're using a cheap sound card.
