    Default "Identifying Music" very slow

    Hi,

I've just purchased Replay Media Catcher to record audio streams, and I'm very impressed with how well it works and how quickly it downloads the streams. However, at the end of every download it starts 'Identifying Music' for anything from 30 seconds to 5 minutes or more. Sometimes it finds a match, more often it doesn't, but either way it slows up my queued downloads tremendously. Is ther any way I can get this to respond more quickly, or just turn off this feature? I'm running version 4.3.2.0.

    Thanks.

    Hi Squirrel

Welcome to the forums - would you mind giving me a few example URL's to test? I've not had this problem that much personally, so i'd like to see if it occurs to me while test recording your streams.

    Thanks!
    Best Regards,

    Hi Jeff,

Actually, since my post it's been much quicker, so maybe there was just a problem with the MusicDSN servers that day. I'd still like an option to be able to turn this off though. I prefer to add my own tags anyway, and this just slows down my downloads.

    Cheers,
    S
