Default the same site not recorded by RMC 4.3.2

    Hello,

I was using RMC 4.0.10 and had no problem with video recording from this site

    http://www.mathworks.com/company/eve...16&language=en

after upgrading to 4.3.2 I'm not able to record it anymore - stream is not dedected at all

    Any idea ??

I added under Tools/Settings HTTP Tweaks unknown and extension swf but it didn't help

I tried to test this but I didnīt see any videos to download. They could be behind the login, but of course I can not access past the page offered.

    just use this link

    http://www.mathworks.com/company/eve...dustry&ind=fin

than chose e.g. GPU Computing with MATLAB webinar

    than use my login data

If you need somebody to test it, please submit a ticket to tech support and we'll be more than happy!

than fill on the right side company field as NCS and click submit.

It will open a new page with 'View Webinar' button

This is a sound rather than a video file and you are right RMC will not download it as it would other files. However it will record it as a sound file but you will have to play the webinar as it records.
You will have to use the Audio Recorder option in RMC.

No, this is shockwave video with sound and RMC 4.0.10 records it with no problem. Why 4.3.2 not ?? Downgrade of funcionality or bug or ??

See what you mean now. Didnīt spot that the text on screen was changing.
Canīt get it to work on RMC 4 either.
Could really do with a good URL sniffer for situations such as these.

for a sniffer I suggest urlSnopper 2 hopefully that may shed some light on the issue.

For multimedia it shows the links:

    http://www.mathworks.com/includes_co...ideoplayer.swf
http://www.mathworks.com/webex/recor...ucomputing.swf (THIS URL will actually play the shockwave video) I am wondering if it isnt flash used to transfer the shockwave video on their site? definitely weird.

Both are showing from source IP 23.13.96.244
Both are showing Protocol as GET FlashMedia file

For show all and I would use that for just before the streams and just after I have cut and copied the results below :
