No Toolbars

I installed freecorder as described below in another thread

Please uninstall, reboot and reinstall Freecorder from the link below:
http://www.applian.com/freecorder4/download.php (NON US Customers)
http://www.applian.com/freecorder5/ (USA Based customers)

Also, here is a link to properly uninstall Freecorder:

Please make sure that you have administrative rights and that you disable any anti virus software you are running while installing Freecorder. (This is very important)

Lastly, please make sure that Freecorder toolbar is enabled in your Firefox browser.

No toolbar shows up in either Firefox or Internet Explorer and when I look in the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in the Control Panel, the only thing that shows up is Freecorder 5. There is no listing of Freecorder Toolbar.

I installed it on 2 different systems as described below


Computer 1
Windows XP (32bit)
Internet Explorer 8
Firefox 10


Computer 2
Windows 7 (64bit)
Internet Explorer 9
Firefox 10

It seems a lot of people are having the same issues.

I hope this can be resolved as this is a great product that I have used a lot in the past.

It looks to me like Firefox is the issue. I have Freecorder installed on another machine with Firefox 8 and it seems to work fine.

If I try to upgrade Firefox then it warns me that Freecorder is not compatible.
